With over 200 international awards to his credit, this Canadian has masterminded sixty films featuring extremely varied styles and techniques. This cross-sampling of his works offers cinephiles an opportunity to appreciate his creative genius. Also, Rechercher Victor Pellerin, a feature film first by Sophie Deraspe, considered one of the most promising cinematographers of her generation.

7th anniversary! Get to the heart of art, in a friendly atmosphere combining the Charlevoix’s creative expression and its friendly joie de vivre. Fifty artists, water-colorists, sculptors and craftspeople work outdoors, under the marquee, in a landscape that has inspired the finest among them for generations. Sea breezes and the sweet sounds of French song also await visitors. In its sixth year, several pieces of artwork will be auctioned off in a fundraising effort benefitting a local community organization. All through the event, artwork created by artists in attendance will be drawn as door prizes.

Her short film presentations featuring truly endearing semi-human, semi-animal creatures have garnered numerous awards at film festivals both in Canada and abroad. Also, delve into the singular universe of one of Québec’s most celebrated painters, Alfred Pellan, through the eyes of talented producers Louis Portugais and Pierre Houle. Travel through two periods during which the artist’s style and technique were in constant flux.
